Finally finished with the paragraphs! It was a lot of work and it took a lot of time, but I'm glad we did it.
I think that the element of writing that the class had the most trouble with was word choice. They were either simple words or words so big that we had to break out our dictionaries! Also, there were a lot of papers that had a lot of plain words and then a huge one randomly. Another weak- or in some cases, missing- element was transitions.
There are definitely some things I need to work on to make my 5 Point Paragraphs better! For instance, topic sentences. Mine wasn't as strong as it could have been. Maybe if I added a little more pizazz it would be better.
I can't wait for our next paragraph assignment so that I can improve my writing style!
