This week, we had a discussion on the poem "Lobsters." I really like =d this poem and how strangely fantastic it was. One of my favorite parts was how you could pull so many themes out of it. One theme that was brought up in the discussion-and that i saw in the poem- was the inevitability of death.
I thought of the lobsters as humans and the customer as "God." The customer got to decide the fate of the lobsters. This was a great poem and I had fun digging into it!
